Born in 1969 SD Crockett is a self-taught artist based near Aldeburgh in Suffolk(UK).

Sophie Crockett grew up around animals and nature and the last of rural traditions and farm life. Nature and the stories and legends of human history have always influenced her creative output. Painting is her passion and escape and she has sold many of her images of mysterious figures, horses and rural life.
